Hours in Portland

A city that fosters artistic independence, entrepreneurship, public green spaces, top chefs and a laid-back sensibility, Portland offers so many ways to “keep it weird.”

While some cities boast a deli or coffee shop on every corner, you can’t throw a stone in Portland without hitting one of our 80+ craft breweries. Perhaps it’s those long, rainy winters that make us want to hit the pub but, whatever is it, beer is one of the things Portland is known best for, and we love it.

If you’re seeking outdoor adventure, Portland is the place to be. With Mount Hood and the Oregon coast just 90 minutes away, you’re never far from a beautiful hike or casual walk on the beach. If you’re hoping to stay closer to home, you’ll want to explore one of the 279 parks and natural areas within the city limits. Portland is home to Forest Park, one of the largest municipal parks in the country, and Mill Ends Park, which measures 24 inches in diameter.

After all that walking around, you’ll be hungry. Whether you’re looking for a gourmet meal from one of our Top Chefs or just grabbing a snack at the food truck around the corner, you’re in luck because Portland is a food mecca.
